Job Overview:
The IT Support Engineer will provide day-to-day technical assistance to ensure smooth operation of all IT systems across Goldsands Group. Responsibilities include troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues, maintaining system performance, ensuring IT security, and supporting all hotel, office, and project locations with timely and efficient technical solutions.
Job Responsibilities:
Provide technical support to end-users, including hardware, software, and networking troubleshooting.
Installation and fixing of computer hardware, software, network and its configuration.
Provide timely technical assistance via phone, email, chat, or in-person to internal staff and external clients.
Maintain and update network documentation and reports.
Set up and manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights in Active Directory and other systems.
Monitor and maintain company IT infrastructure including LAN/WAN, servers, printers, and internet connections.
Diagnose and resolve issues related to system performance, operating systems, and network connectivity.
Perform routine maintenance tasks such as data backups, antivirus updates, and patch management.
Maintain inventory of IT equipment, software licenses, and other IT assets.
Collaborate with vendors for procurement and warranty support.
Ensure data security and support compliance with IT policies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Information Technology / Computer Engineering or a related field.
Certifications like CompTIA A+, Network+ will be an added advantage.
Experience:
1/2 years experienced candidate will get preference. • Freshers with strong fundamentals may also apply.
